India won the cricket world cup! After 28 years. The first and last time they had won was at Lord's in 1983. MS Dhoni led the team to a fabulous and outstanding win!! I sound like Ravi shastry now :) But it was really a great match to watch. My favorite team members are Dhoni and Sachin. It is Sachin's last world cup and the whole team dedicated the cup to him. Yuvraj - man of the series, MS man of the finals match. He scored an unbeaten 91 in 88 balls with a super sixer in the end that closed the match.
We were wearing India blue t-shirts which we bought on the day of the finals :) Of course we were in blue the whole of last week.
We went on a 6 mile bike ride this morning, to commemorate the 6 wicket win by India, hehehe :D I just made that up, but we really did go on a 6 m ride. Slept late after watching the match last night, woke up with a broad smile on our face :D, Indians are the world champions! Imagine how the players are feeling!
There are no enough words to describe about the India - SL match. So am going to stop here.
