Nature

We all know that nature is the most powerful of everything. I have always been a nature lover. Being outside gives us a sense of freedom, a freshness that can only be experienced and cannot be described in words.

As one can see from my earlier posts, I love morning walks, treks, cycling, anything outdoorsy. I can sit out in the middle of greenary or on a beach for hours not doing anything. Whereas if I am inside I can barely sit still for a few minutes without getting bored.

I try and go for morning walks on sundays and when am at my mom's place. On one of my walks, something amazing happened and its stuck in my head, so I had to jot down my thoughts.

I was not in one of the greatest moods when I started my run that day. Once I start my walk/run, I usually do not think much. I continued my run on that early morning, and suddenly I saw that the sky had become pink in color. The sky looked like a beautiful painting with many shades of pink. It was magical. I was so tempted to stop, remove my phone from my pocket and click a picture, but I continued my run. I knew I would never forget that moment. The sky kept changing colors after that, it slowly turned into different shades of orange, and I saw the sun rise.

It just brought a smile on my face and a sense of peace within me. The fact that I could smile in those circumstances, made me realize that one could bounce back to normalcy in the middle of nature. It gave me hope that if we are in constant touch with nature, we can survive under any circumstance. So let us try to do as many things as possible along with nature and try to lead a peaceful life :)

Below are few pictures that I took during my walk/run on other days:

Choose

We have often heard  of "Choose your battles"  (with a person) statement.  Which is like creating a balance to keep ourselves sane.  Lately I realized that "choose your frustrations " is also a very strong strategy.  :D

I love my walks in the evening,  and I get to walk only if my lil ones attend their classes.  And as expected each day is different,  and my youngest one decides to attend the class if shes  in a good mood. This used to affect me, though a very silly reason to be affected.  Then all of a sudden I realized that I need to decide if I am going to let things affect me. There is no control over lot of things in life.  So we can choose to let something bother us or not.  Of course the frustration or worry will enter our mind,  but we can consciously remove it by saying "I choose my frustrations,  and so this is not the chosen one". Hehe :p

There is no end to the list of stuff that cause frustrations to us on a daily basis. But if we are conscious of our thoughts, we can decide what goes in and out of our head :)

It has been working for me.  So sharing my thoughts here :)
